UM Division of Outreach Awarded Top Honors at College P.R. Conference
Team awards include first-place print advertising campaign in statewide competition
OXFORD, Miss. – Members of the Marketing and Creative Services department in the University of Mississippi’s Division of Outreach were recently honored for their work during the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi’s (CPRAM) 2019 conference.
The awards were presented during the event held in Ridgeland last month where marketing, communications, and public relations professionals from Mississippi’s senior institutions and community colleges gathered for professional development and networking opportunities.
The marketing office team members, led by director Janey Ginn, include: Larry Agostinelli, Vanessa Cook, Anna Sayre, Pam Starling, and Kris Zediker.
“Each project is truly a team effort,” Ginn said, “We work with the individual units in Outreach on a concept and a message. Then our staff translates these abstract ideas into something concrete.
“It is a rewarding, creative process and I’m so proud of my staff for their continued dedication to producing high quality work.
The team honors this year included a first place award in the senior college division for the print advertising campaign, “iStudy Origami Ads,” produced in the fall of 2018 to promote the division’s iStudy online academic program.
