Students will spend one week on campus for lectures then travel to Washington, D.C., to continue learning about key ethical issues concerning humanity's relationship with the environment. Shared accommodations will be provided at the Capitol Hill Hotel.
Philosophy, public policy leadership, biology, and political science majors may be interested in this course. There are no prerequisites.
The dates are January 5-9, 2015, and January 11-17, 2015. Students will attend on-campus lectures during the first week. Then spend a week in Washington, D.C., talking with experts and visiting related groups and institutions.
Students will make their own arrangements to and from Washington, D.C.
Program cost is $1,195 plus tuition. Included in the cost are housing, one group dinner, site admission fees, and tour fees. Study USA application fee, tuition, airfare, and personal spending money are excluded from the course fee.
