Get ready for adventure at Rebel Quest—a week full of hands-on learning, exciting challenges, and tons of fun on the University of Mississippi campus!
Each week, we dive into a new theme with creative projects, interactive play, and the chance to explore various occupations and careers. From lab experiments and pool activities to games in the Grove, Rebel Quest sparks curiosity and a love of learning!

This summer, Rebel Quest is all about exploring exciting careers, sparking imaginations, and making learning an adventure.

Every week brings a fresh theme, sparking curiosity and creativity in all our Rebel Questers.
Daily Focus Areas
This summer, each day of the week is dedicated to a different academic area, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging learning experience to keep your student sharp.
- Math Mondays
Engage in complex problem-solving and critical thinking exercises, building strong foundations in mathematical concepts and reasoning skills. - ELA & Social Studies Tuesdays
Explore the world through literature, history, and cultural studies, strengthening literacy and understanding the diverse stories that shape societies. - Science Wednesdays
Dive deep into the scientific method, analyzing experiments, and discovering the principles that govern the natural world. - Art & Culture Thursdays
Explore artistic expression and global cultures, fostering creativity while gaining insight into the history and significance of artistic traditions. - STEM Fridays
Focus on hands-on projects in science, technology, engineering, and math, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world problems and innovations.
Registration for each week closes when capacity is reached or by the deadline, whichever comes first. To increase your chances, submit your registration and paperwork by May 1.
To prepare for their week, students will attend an online orientation via Zoom before the program begins.
1. Create an Account
Use a personal (non-school) email to register. Within 3 business days, you'll receive an email from umprecollege@myschoolapp.com with instructions to set up an account in our Admissions Portal.
Create Account2. Pay to Secure Spot
Once in the Admissions Portal, follow the steps for payment to confirm your student’s place.
3. Complete Registration Checklist
In the Admissions Portal, complete your assigned registration checklist within 14 days or by the program deadline. This includes contact info, academic history, agreements, and medical forms.
Each student must have their own MySchoolApp account. Parents and guardians with more than one student can manage all of their students' application checklists from a single Parent account.
Students entering 1st-5th grades DO NOT need to have their own MySchoolApp account.
After Registration
- Parents will receive an email with program details two weeks before the start date.
- All middle and high school SIPS require an online mandatory orientation. The email will include the date and link to the session.
Need to register more than one student?
Our system only allows one student registration per transaction.Complete one student’s registration, then start a new registration for the next student.
Before the program begins
You’ll receive a detailed pre-summer logistics email and a pre-arrival checklist on your MySchoolApp account.
Incomplete or Late Registrations
- After payment, please complete all steps within 2 weeks.
- Our team relies on this information to plan and schedule for the summer, so any registrations left incomplete or applications that are inactive after 3 weeks will incur a $20 late fee unless an extension is requested.
Refund Policy
- Cancel at least 2 weeks before the session for an 80% refund.
- Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the camp.
- Full refunds will be issued if the camp is canceled due to low enrollment.

A Sample Day at Rebel Quest: Math Monday
7:30 am to 8:00 am | Check-In & Free Play |
8:00 am to 9:00 am | Morning Warm Up & Math Exploration Kickstart the day with fun math puzzles and challenges, followed by hands-on learning of key concepts. |
9:00 am to 9:15 am | Restroom and Snack Break |
9:15 am to 10:15 am | Math Activity Work on a creative math project with games, problem-solving, and teamwork! |
10:15 am to 12:00 pm | Outdoor Play in The Grove Enjoy free play or structured games in the Grove to burn off energy! |
12:00 pm to 12:45 pm | Lunch Time |
12:45 pm to 1:15 pm | Independent Reading Time Relax with a book or listen to stories that inspire creativity and literacy. |
1:15 pm to 2:15 pm | Math Activity Dive into another fun project to reinforce the morning’s lesson through games and hands-on activities. |
2:15 pm to 2:30 pm | Restroom and Snack Break |
2:30 pm to 3:30 pm | Outdoor Play in The Grove More outdoor fun with free play or organized games! |
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm | Themed Movie, Wind Down, & Clean Up End the day with a fun math-themed movie or show while winding down and cleaning up. |
4:30 pm to 5:00 pm | Check-Out & Departure |

Benefit for UM Faculty and Staff
Full-time University of Mississippi employees can choose one of these payment options:
- Upfront Payment: Pay $170/week with a credit card and save $25 per week.
- Payroll Deduction: Pay $195/week over six pay periods, starting in July. Available until June 15th.
Only one payment option can be used per week; both options cannot be combined.
Financial Aid available.
Need-based assistance is available for Rebel Quest and other summer programs. Only one week per child can be scholarship-funded. Funding is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
