Get ready for adventure at Rebel Quest—a week full of hands-on learning, exciting challenges, and tons of fun on the University of Mississippi campus!
Each week, we dive into a new theme with creative projects, interactive play, and the chance to explore various opportunities Ole Miss has to offer. From lab experiments and pool activities to games in the Grove, Rebel Quest sparks curiosity and a love of learning!
Weekly Themes
                        Every week brings a new theme, encouraging curiosity, reinforcing content and skilles learned throuhgout the school year and, most importantly, having fun. 
Registration for each week closes when capacity is reached or by the deadline, whichever comes first. To increase your chances, submit your registration and paperwork by May 1.
1. Create an Account
Use a personal (non-school) email to register. Within 3 business days, you'll receive an email from umprecollege@myschoolapp.com with instructions to set up an account in our Admissions Portal.
2. Pay to Secure Spot
Once in the Admissions Portal, follow the steps for payment to confirm your student’s place.
3. Complete Registration Checklist
In the Admissions Portal, complete your assigned registration checklist within 14 days or by the program deadline. This includes contact info, academic history, agreements, and medical forms.
Each student must have their own MySchoolApp account. Parents and guardians with more than one student can manage all of their students' application checklists from a single Parent account.
Students entering 1st-5th grades DO NOT need to have their own MySchoolApp account.
After Registration
- Parents will receive an email with program details one weeks before the start date.
- All day programs and SIPs will require families to view a video orientation of program expectations, rules and guidelines, etc.
Need to register more than one student?
                        Our system only allows one student registration per transaction. Complete one student’s registration, then start a new registration for the next student. 
Before the program begins
                        You’ll receive a detailed pre-summer logistics email that will include program-specific details and a what to pack listing.
Incomplete or Late Registrations
- After payment, please complete all steps within 2 weeks.
- Our team relies on this information to plan and schedule for the summer, so any registrations left incomplete or applications that are inactive after 3 weeks will incur a $20 late fee unless an extension is requested.
Refund Policy
- Cancel at least 2 weeks before the session for an 80% refund.
- Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the camp.
- Full refunds will be issued if the camp is canceled due to low enrollment.
Daily Focus Areas
                        Each day of the week is dedicated to a different academic area, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging learning experience to keep your student sharp this summer.

| 2:15 pm to 2:30 pm | Restroom and Snack Break | 
| 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm | Outdoor Play in The Grove | 
| 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm | Themed Movie, Wind Down, & Clean Up | 
| 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm | Check-Out & Departure | 
A detailed weekly schedule and more information will be emailed before the program begins.
Benefit for UM Faculty and Staff
                        Full-time University of Mississippi employees can choose one of these payment options:
- Upfront Payment: Pay $170/week with a credit card and save $25 per week.
- Payroll Deduction: Pay $195/week over six pay periods, starting in July. Available until June 15th.
Only one payment option can be used per week; both options cannot be combined.
Financial Aid available. 
                        Need-based assistance is available for Rebel Quest and other summer programs. Only one week per child can be scholarship-funded. Funding is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

This summer, Rebel Quest is all about exploring exciting careers, sparking imaginations, and making learning an adventure.
Week 1: Detective RQ
                  June 1-5, 2026
                  It's Elementary... Week 1 of Rebel Quest showcases both the critical thinking and scientific elements necessary to solve a mystery. Prepare to discover how we learn what we don't know...yet!
Week 2: Passport to Music
                  June 8-12, 2026
                  The beautiful thing about music is how it varies from country to country; culture to culture. Join us in Week 2 as we appreciate the beauty of music across the world while making instruments and our own music along the way.
Week 3: Full STEAM Ahead
                  June 15-19, 2026
                  Isaac Newton tells us that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The Action: joining us for  Week 3. The Reaction: engaging activities, hands-on learning, and fun! 
Week 4: The Daily Quest
                  June 22-26, 2026
                  Start spreading the news... it's cool to know what's going on. Each day, students will practice a new element of journalism. From print to digital media, there's something for everyone during week 4.
Week 5: Bones, Brains, and Beyond!
                  July 6-10, 2026
                  What's going on inside our bodies? During Week 5, we will look inward at how the body works, why we need every part of our body, and the impact of different muscles and organs.
Week 6: Tech Through Time
                  July 13-17, 2026
                  Kids may be better at today's technology than adults, but they don't know "old-school" like we do! Join us for Week 5 where we explore how technology has changed from the phonograph to the latest cell phone.
