You’ll earn academic credit, apply what you’re learning directly to your surroundings, and engage in lively class experiences—all guided by Ole Miss faculty.

What You'll Do
- Conference attendance: Participate in a variety of educational sessions at the ABAI Conference.
- Career development: Attend interviews with potential future employers and with graduate programs in behavior analysis.
- Networking opportunities: Network with university faculty, professionals, and fellow students through scheduled conference events.
- Educ 555 students: Develop a research proposal based on one or more symposia at the conference.
All activities are tentative and subject to change depending on scheduling, booking availability, and course adjustments.

Kate Kellum
Instructional Associate Professor, Director of Undergraduate Studies, & Assistant Chair

Kate holds a masters degree in education from Purdue University and a doctoral degree in psychology from the University of Nevada Reno. She has considerable experience in assessment of educational and research activities, time-series research design, and performance measurement/improvement.
For over 25 years, she has been consulting with schools, universities, and non-profits in the USA and the UK to enhance their ability to implement contextual changes and measure learning and organizational outcomes. Kate regularly designs and conducts research on student learning and preferences.
Kate is an active presenter at national and international conferences and accidentally has more cats than people at her house.

Kayla Crook
Assistant Professor & ABA Program Coordinator

Dr. Crook is an Assistant Professor of Special Education. She is also a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in 2019.
Her area of interests include treatment of severe problem behavior and Tier 1 interventions for elementary classrooms such as the Good Behavior Game.
