Admission to this course requires the submission of a writing sample to the instructor.*
Students will meet on the Oxford campus on May 13. The instructor will determine the time and location of the on-campus meeting. Students will spend May 14-20 in Austin, TX, and continue the course on the Oxford campus May 21-24.
Students with wanderlust and a notebook, be it digital or analog. This course could be beneficial to students who are professional writing minors, writing and rhetoric students, journalism majors or minors, hospitality management students interested in travel writing, or any student needing an upper-level writing class.
Students will make their own travel arrangements to Austin, TX. Study USA students may have airfare billed to their bursar. Details will be provided once students are enrolled in the course. Included in the course fee are housing, group ground transportation, and select group meals. Excluded from the cost are the Study USA application fee, tuition, airfare, and personal spending money.
