Students will:

  • Attend FNCE 2017, the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo
  • Celebrate 100 years of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Experience dynamic educational opportunities, choosing from over 130 education and research sessions
  • Review products and services from over 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest in food and nutrition
  • Network with some of the 10,000 registered dieticians, nutrition science researchers, policy makers, healthcare providers, and industry leaders in attendance.

Location:

Students will spend four days in Chicago attending FNCE 2017. Students can explore the city during free time and visit notable Chicago sites like The Art Institute of Chicago, The Field Museum, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Millennium Park, Adler Planetarium, and The Magnificent Mile.

Who should go?

This program is for Dietetics majors. Instructor approval is required.

Dates:

Students will meet on the Oxford campus prior to departure then spend October 21-24 in Chicago.  The instructor determines time and location for the Oxford meeting.

Travel:

Students will make their own travel arrangements to and from Chicago. Shared accommodations will be provided at a hotel near McCormick Place.

Costs:

Course fee is $775.00. Included in the course fee are housing, ground transportation, and conference registration. Excluded from the cost are the Study USA application fee, tuition, airfare, and personal spending money.
