The course may interest anthropology, African American studies, gender studies, history, sociology, and southern studies majors and minors. Students interested in interdisciplinary scholarship, culture, or identity may also enjoy this course.
Students will meet in Oxford on January 2 and will travel together until returning to Oxford on January 13. Travel during the course will be provided by van.
The Study USA program fee is $1,695. Included in the program fee are housing, group ground transportation, tours, museum admissions, class activities, and two group meals. Excluded from the cost are most meals and personal spending money.
Study USA offers two scholarship opportunities to students participating in our programs. Students can apply as part of the overall application for a course.
