The Study USA program is designed to offer career-focused experiences that are accessible and affordable for UM Students. Here are some program cost and scholarship insights:
Deadline: September 27, 2024 priority application
The Outreach Study USA Scholarship supports student participation in Study USA courses. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $750 and are designed to help offset the additional expenses associated with academic travel.
Students must meet the following criteria to be considered:
Once awards have been announced, students must confirm their intention to accept the award and participate in the program. Students who do not enroll in and complete their program will not be granted scholarship funds.

The Carolyn Ellis Staton Study USA Scholarship was established to increase access to unique experiential learning programs. These scholarships will help to make engaging educational travel opportunities more accessible to students with financial need. Scholarship awards range from $250 to $750 and are designed to help offset the additional expenses associated with academic travel.

The College of Liberal Arts Study USA Scholarship supports CLA student participation in Study USA courses led by College faculty. Scholarship awards of $500 are designed to help offset the additional expenses associated with academic travel.
