Students will meet in Oxford during the Fall semester (September 13 and October 25, 2024). Students will travel to Seattle, WA between December 3-8. The instructor will announce the time and location for the Oxford meetings.
Students will participate in a pre-departure orientation on the Oxford campus. During the travel portion of the course, students will attend the conference in Seattle, WA.
Students will need to book their own way to and from Seattle. Students’ flights can be billed to their bursar. Details will be provided after enrollment in the course. Shuttle in Seattle will be provided between the hotel and the conference.
Students Junior standing or above wanting to attend the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association annual convention should apply. Communication sciences and disorders, education, and psychology majors may be particularly interested.
$1525 plus tuition. Included in the program fee are shared housing accommodations, conference registration at the national NSSLHA membership rate*, and one group meal. Excluded from the cost are tuition, most meals, and personal spending money.
If students are not national NSSLHA members, an additional fee will be charged to cover the non-member rate.
Once accepted to a program, the student accepts financial responsibility for Study USA program fees and tuition and must adhere to the application and withdrawal policy.
