Internship Experience Scholarships

The Internship Experience offers a limited number of need-based scholarships, up to $2,000, to help with the costs of interning.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be accepted into the Internship Experience program
  • Complete the UMIE Program in good standing – EDHE 320 (Fall II), EDHE 321(Spring I), and EDHE 322 (Spring II)
  • Have UM verified financial need
  • Complete the UMIE scholarship application

Individual internship participants who complete the series of Internship Experience coursework may use their awarded funding for tuition, travel or technology.

Scholarships will range between $500 and $2,000 depending on level of financial need and the location of your internship. The number of scholarships available each year will vary depending upon funding availability.
