Credit Programs
Student Eligibility Requirements:
Any student interested in college credit programs must meet all of the following program requirements:
- Be enrolled in public, charter, private, or home school
- Have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing
United States Citizens
Students must meet above criteria, submit a School Approval Form signed by principal and guidance counselor, AND qualify for early admission as a dual enrollment student at the University of Mississippi through either of the following eligibility options:
Option 1:
- Be classified as a Junior or Senior in high school
Option 2:
- Have a minimum composite score of 30 on the ACT (or SAT equivalent)
Non-United States Citizens
- Students must meet above criteria AND
- Have a high English proficiency supported by an official language test score equivalent to 79 on the TOEFL iBT OR a proficiency verification letter provided by an English teacher or department supervisor*
*Students applying to take ONLY Intensive English Classes can be 15 years old by the first day of the program and are not required to meet a minimum GPA standard or to provide proof of English proficiency.

Application Process for College Credit Programs

Complete the Credit Program Application.
2.
Create account and complete your application checklist.
($100 non-refundable application fee*)
3.
Complete the UM Application.
4.
Submit your School Approval Form and High School Transcript.
5.
Participate in our free online orientation.
(Required to maintain course registration.)
*If the application fee will cause undue hardship for your family, or you are unable to pay due to financial need, please have your school counselor complete the NACAC application fee waiver on your behalf.
