Credit Programs

For High School Students

The University of Mississippi offers high-achieving students the opportunity to earn high school or college credits through our dual credit programs. While enrolled in our programs, participants:

  • Challenge themselves with advanced coursework.
  • Experience a dynamic collegiate environment beyond the classroom.
  • Build connections with peers, staff, and mentors from across the country and the world.
  • Develop lifelong skills to benefit them personally and academically.

 

Which credit program is right for you?

Credit

If you want to earn high school or college credit, catch up, or explore new subjects, we offer three options:

  • Dual Credit
    Earn college credit as a non-degree-seeking UM student through in-person, web, or self-paced online courses. Available in fall, spring, and summer.
  • ConnectUM
    Earn college credit affordably and access additional UM opportunities. A program for high school students to apply during sophomore or junior year.
  • UM High School
    Earn high school credit online to transfer to your school or earn a high school diploma. Available year-round.

Credit + Summer Experience

Our Summer Credit Programs are perfect for students who want to earn high school and college credit while experiencing life at UM. These programs mix classroom learning with hands-on activities and require in-person attendance. Enjoy faculty mentoring, field trips, and social and academic events on evenings and weekends.
