myOleMiss & WebID
Online Portal & Log-In
myOleMiss is the online portal for the University. It offers access to academic, financial, and personal information. A WebID is provided upon hiring and grants access to UM web services like myOleMiss, email, and Blackboard.
Blackboard
Learning Management System (LMS)
Blackboard is the campus-wide course management system. Post course materials, deliver tests and surveys, hold online discussions, and manage course-related functions.

Panopto
Video Platform
Panopto is a video platform integrated into Blackboard. Instructors can seamlessly record, upload, and add videos to courses and allow student video submissions.
Email & Office 365
Email & Microsoft Tools
Faculty & staff receive an @olemiss.edu email on Microsoft Outlook, along with access to other Microsoft Office 365 tools, such as Copilot and Teams.
UM Gmail
Google Email
You may also request a UM Gmail (@go.olemiss.edu) account as an additional email account. This provides access to Google Apps for Education, such as Drive, Docs, Sheets, and YouTube.

Box is the university’s preferred cloud-based file storage platform that allows users to securely store, share, and manage files.

UM also provides Zoom accounts to virtually meet with your students for office hours, virtual classrooms, or for student presentations.
